Overview of the Seminar

نظرة عامة عن الندوة
The Hassan Bin Mohammed Center for Historical Studies, based in Doha, Qatar, and under the patronage of its director, Sheikh Hassan Bin Mohammed Al Thani, is honored to announce a pioneering and distinguished seminar being held for the first time globally. This seminar will bring together leading scholars and experts from around the world to explore the various dating systems and calendars that shaped the cultural, religious, and social life of ancient Arabia and its surrounding regions.

Scientific Committee:
• Mohammed Maraqten, Ammar Al-Sukaji, Hisham Al-Qar’aan, and Mounir Arbach.

Organizing Committee:
• Mohammed Hammam Fekri, Mohammed Maraqten, Aymen Aiblu, Aisha Moussa, Mohammed Babhir  and Youness Maimoun.

Scientific Publication:
• The proceedings of this seminar will be included and published as part of the book series issued by Athīrat: Journal of Ancient Arabia, supervised by the Hassan Bin Mohammed Center for Historical Studies in collaboration with Brill publishing.
