The Editorial Board of Athīrat, an academic and peer-reviewed journal published jointly by the Hassan Bin Mohammed Center in Doha and Brill Publishers in Leiden, is pleased to invite submissions for its third volume. Topic: “Ancient Arabia Between Tribe and State: Settlement Patterns, Urbanization, and Institutional Formation.” We welcome original research articles from scholars specialized in pre-Islamic Arabia.
Languages: Articles may be submitted in Arabic or English. Deadline: All abstract submissions must be received on or before 15th of May, 2026. Review Process: Submitted articles will undergo a rigorous peer review process. Publication Date: The accepted articles will be published in the third volume of Athirat, which is scheduled for January 2026. We look forward to your contributions and to advancing the field of pre-Islamic Arab studies. يسر هيئة تحرير مجلة ”أثيرت“، وهي مجلة أكاديمية محكّمة تصدر بالاشتراك بين مركز حسن بن محمد في الدوحة ودار بريل للنشر في ليدن، أن تدعو الباحثات والباحثين إلى تقديم بحوث لعددها الثالث والذي يركز على موضوع "الجزيرة العربية القديمة بين القبيلة والدولة: أنماط الاستقرار البشري، والتحضُّـر، وتكوّن المؤسسات". نرحب بالمقالات البحثية الأصلية من الباحثين المتخصصين في الجزيرة العربية قبل الإسلام
